Easy Solutions for Issues with the Wavlink Extender Not Working

Having problems with your Wi-Fi signals because your Wavlink extender isn't working? Do not worry - most issues are easy to fix by following some very simple steps.

First, we need to check the power. Make sure the extender is plugged into a good outlet, and an LED for power is shining on it. Sometimes, the problem is caused by a loose power wire or intermittent power.

Next, check the connection between your extender and the main router. Place the extender so it is within range from the router but still closer to the area needing boosting for the Wi-Fi signal. If it is too far from there, the extender will be of little help in boosting the network.

Try restarting your devices. Power cycling or restart the router and the Wavlink extender by unplugging for at least 30 seconds and plugging back in. This often flushes out the network settings and resolves most disorders.

If problems remain, try logging into the setup page and checking for an update for the firmware, as any such functionality issue can crop up due to an outdated version of software. If still not resolved, consider resetting the extender to factory defaults and setting up again for Wavlink extender not working.
