I’ve been testing a few screen mirroring apps for my iPhone to stream home videos to my living room TV. One thing that really bugs me is how many of these apps don’t offer a proper free trial. I mean, I’m not against paying for something that works well, but how can I even tell if it fits my needs if I only get five minutes of casting before a huge watermark pops up or it disconnects? Why is it so hard to just give users a day or two of full access?

Without a decent trial, I usually just skip and look elsewhere. There's nothing more annoying than paying for an app only to find it lags or doesn’t even connect to your smart TV properly.
