A Balanced Experience – Final Thoughts on Black Ops 6 Zombies’ Season 1 Reloaded Update
After a few weeks of playing the Season 1 Reloaded update for Black Ops 6 Zombies, I’ve finally had some time to sit back and analyze the buffs and nerfs. Overall, I think this update has done a great job of balancing things out and forcing players to think critically about their loadouts.

The buffs to some weapons and perks have made the game feel fresh, and I’ve definitely enjoyed experimenting with different setups. The damage boosts to weapons like the Hauer 77 and MP5 have made them more appealing, while the increased ammo return from perks like Vulture Aid has relieved a lot of the stress that comes with running out of ammo in the later rounds.
However, the nerfs have also been a necessary evil. While I miss the overwhelming power of the D.I.E. Shockwave and the convenience of the Chopper Gunner, I do feel that the nerfs have resulted in a more dynamic and engaging experience. The challenge is definitely higher now, but that just means the rewards feel even more satisfying.
In the end, the Season 1 Reloaded update feels like it’s steering the game in a positive direction, promoting versatility and rewarding strategic planning. There’s no longer one “best” way to approach Zombies, which makes each playthrough feel more exciting and unpredictable.
So, what’s your take on the update? Are you satisfied with the changes, or are there certain aspects you think still need work?
